John Rogers of Lonaconing Instantly Killed at Detmold Trestling. John Rogers, aged 25 years, was instantly killed on the Detmold trestling by being struck by the miners' train about 5 o'clock this morning. Rogers, with a friend, John Carey, was sitting on the edge af the trestle when they were both struck by the train mentioned. Carey was knocked off and only badly bruised while his companion was instantly killed. A striking coincidense is revealed in the fact that Rogers' father was killed almost at the same spot several years ago."
