Va. – Harry Romanick, 50, a former resident, died Wednesday at his home in Maple Heights, Ohio. Born in Philadelphia, he was a son of the late Alex and Josephine (Sokol) Romanick. He was a veteran of World War II, during which he served in the European Theatre. Mr. Romanick was a member of Thomas Methodist Church and Thomas Lodge 123, AF&AM. He was a General Motor Corporation employee. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Nancy (Shaffer) Romanick; a daughter Miss Nancy Jo Romanick, at home; a brother, John Romanick; a half-brother, Charles Soboto, and a half-sister, Mrs. Nellie Gaynor, all of Baltimore. The body has been returned here and taken to the Duncan Funeral Home. Services will be conducted tomorrow at 2 p.m. at Thomas Methodist Church by Rev. Harry Atzenhofer and interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. Graveside Masonic services will be accorded by Thomas Lodge 123 and military honors will be accorded by Blue Ridge Post 22, American Legion of Thomas.
