“On February 25, 1951, Elizabeth F. (nee Arnold) Rowan, aged 79 years, the beloved wife of 
the late James J. Rowan. The funeral services will be at the William Cook Mansion, St. Paul 
and Preston streets (Baltimore) on Wednesday at 8:30 a.m. Requiem Mass at St. Mary’s Star 
of the Sea at 9 a.m. Interment in Frostburg, Md., on Thursday.”
