MRS. IRA D. RYAN

   Mrs. Maude Gladys Ryan, 66, of 208 Knox Street, died yesterday at Memorial 
Hospital where she was admitted December 27.  She had been in failing health 
eight years.
   A native of Lake Gordon, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Clarence and 
Louise (Welch) Clities.
   Surviving are her husband, Ira D. Ryan; six sons, Daniel, Donald, and Royce 
Ryan, city; Douglas Ryan, Cresaptown; Charles Ryan, at home, and Leonard 
Rising, Annapolis; five daughters, Mrs. Charles Shanholtz, Bedford Road; Mrs. 
William Price, Frostburg; Mrs. Joseph Freno and Mrs. Tony Yacenech, city, and 
Miss Gladys Ryan, at home; 15 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; four 
brothers, William Clites, Lake Gordon; Charles Clites, Ridgeley; Dunning 
Clites, Bedford Valley, Pa., and Robert Clites, Baltimore; three sisters, Mrs. 
Mary Matthews, city; Mrs. Samuel Ware, Lake Gordon, and Mrs. Harvey Sachs, 
Wiley Ford.
   The body is at the Hafer Funeral Home where friends will be received today 
from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
   Services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the funeral home by Rev. 
Ervin W. Mason Jr., assistant pastor of Central Assembly of God Church.  
Interment will be in Zion Memorial Burial Park.
