Cumberland Evening Times   March 5, 1941
   Elkins, W. Va., March 5 -- Funeral services were conducted this afternoon 
at the family residence, for Mrs. Nina Ann Sacks, 71, widow of John Sacks, who 
died Sunday noon at her home in Piles Creek near Elkins.
      She was a daughter of John and Nancy McCauley Howell, who was the mother 
of 19 children, ten of whom survive as follows:
      Jesse F. Cumberland, Md.; Harvey A., Wiley Ford, W. Va.,; Theodore A. 
Cumberland; Charles P., Cresaptown, Md.,; Geore w., Wily Ford; Mrs. Nancy J. 
Watson, Wiley Ford; Mrs. Amanda E. Arbogast, Elkins; Mrs. Grace leary, at 
home; Mrs. Ora M. Weese Philippi and Mrs. Virginia Phillips, Elkins. There are 
59 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
