The Cumberland News - July 22, 1968
William F. Senkbeil,- 83; of 505 Central Avenue rear, died yesterday.
A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the late Charles and Carolina 
(Klavuhn) Senkbeil. His wife, Eleanor K.(Smith) Senkbeil, preceded him
in death.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter and was a member of Improved Order of 
Redmen Tribe 120.
Surviving are one son, Carl R, Senkbeil with the'Army" in Texas; five 
daughters, Miss Arbutus Senkbeil, Mrs. Viola Moore, Mrs." Marie Barnard, Mrs. 
June Strauderman, all of Cumberland, and Mrs. Mildred 'McGraw, Elkton; two 
sisters, Mrs. Lena McElfish and Mrs. Margaret Hymes, city; 16 grandchildren 
and 11 great-grandchildren.
The body is at the Stein Funeral Home where friends will be received from 2 
until 4 and 7 until 9 p.m. A service will be conducted there Wednesday at 11 
a.m. Rev. William L. Piel will officiate and burial will be in Trinity
Lutheran Cemetery.
