The November 19, 1959 issue of the Evening Times gives details of the accident, which I chose not to include here. "...Born at Keyser, Mrs. Spano was a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Comisso) Tanetta {sic-Panetta}. Mrs. Spano was a member of the Catholic Church of the Assumption. Surviving, besides her husband, are a daughter, Miss Helen Spano, Keyser; a sister, Mrs. Joseph Femia, Keyser, and three brothers, Joseph, Angelo and James Tanetta, {sic-Panetta} all of Keyser. A requiem mass will be celebrated Saturday at 9 a. m. the Church of the Assumption by Rev. Joseph Hersh, pastor. Burial will be in St. Thomas Cemetery.
