"Mrs. John Spitzer BARTON-- Mrs. Catherine Spitzer, 92, widow of John 
Spitzer, died recently at the home of her son, Vincent Spitzer, Baltimore.  
She was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Connolly) Barry of 
Lonaconing, and had resided in Baltimore the past 55 years.  Surviving, 
besides her son, are another son, Joseph, Philadelphia, Pa; two daughters, 
Mrs. Mary Sands and Miss Elizabeth Spitzer, both of Baltimore, and a 
number of nieces and nephews.  Services were conducted recently in Baltimore."
