"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 16 Aug 1968: " 
Lonaconing-Mrs. Delma (Nicol) Stakem died yesterday in Chelsea, Mass. 
She was a native of Lonaconing, a daughter of the late Thomas and 
Mamie Nicol. Surviving are her husband, Edward Stakem, three sisters, 
Mrs. Olivia Athey, Keyser; Mrs. Dorothy Blank, here; Mrs. Betty Miller, 
Conway, Pa.; and three brothers, Irwin Nicol, Pontiac, Mich.; George 
Nicol, Baltimore; and Francis Nicol, here. The body will be returned 
to the Eichhorn Funeral Home." Note: another obituary shows she was 
buried at Frostburg Memorial Park.
