"Cumberland Alleganian" Cumberland, Maryland, 24 Aug 1905: "
Midland-Mrs. James Stakem, died at her home on Main Street last night 
at 12 o'clock after an illness of several months. She leaves a husband 
and five children. Mrs. Stakem's maiden name was Miss Ellie Carey and 
she resided in Lonaconing the greater part of her life."
