Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 14 Aug 1977: 
"LUKE-James Sudine, 80, of 117 Pratt Street, died yesterday in 
Sacred Heart Hospital, Cumberland. Born in  Marigananilla Province, 
Napille, Italy, he was the son of the late Joseph and Dolores 
Sudine. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Mrs. Julia 
DiChieria. Mr. Sudine was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church 
and Local 676 UPPR, Luke and was a retired employe of Luke Mill of 
Westvaco. Besides his wife, Mrs. Carmela (Derenzo) Sudine, he is 
survived by two sons,Joseph Sudine, Westernport; James Sudine, 
Baltimore; four daughters, Mrs. Dolores DiNicoIa, Los Angeles, 
Calif.; Mrs. Teresa Serpone, Piedmont; Mrs. Josephine Grimms and 
Mrs. Bernice Kimball, both of Florida; a brother, Enrico Sudine, 
Oris Poltenca, Italy; seven grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Friends will be received at the Boal Funeral Home 
today from 7 to 9 p.m. and tomorrow 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Mass 
of the Resurrection will be celebrated in St. Peter's Church 
Tuesday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A 
Christian Wake service will be conducted in the furneral home 
tomorrow at 8:30 p.m."
