"Bess" Sullivan, 80, who died Saturday in General Hospital after a long illness, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Vincent Catholic Church, with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Mrs. Sullivan, a native of Westernport, Md., was an Akron resident 44 years. She had worked at the former Burke's Bake Shop in West Akron, retiring in 1952. She was a member of the church and its Altar Society, the Hibernians Auxiliary, and the St. Anne Grandmother's Club. She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Mary McGuckin and Mrs. Anne Mundy, both of Akron, and Mrs. Elizabeth Roach, Delaware, O.; a son, Charles, Peninsula; two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Kelley, Akron and Mrs. Kathleen Patrician, Baltimore, Md.; a brother, Lawrence McDade, of Westernport; 18 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 tonight and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in Dunn-Quigley Akron Funeral Home where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday."
