Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, Thur 7 Apr 1966: 
"MT. SAVAGE - Miss Beulah A. Thoerig, 55, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart 
Hospital where she was admitted on March 6.  Miss Thoerig was born in Mt. 
Savage, a daughter of Mrs. Harriett (Jenkins) Thoerig and the late William 
F. Thoerig.  She was an employe of the Celanese Fibers Company and was a 
member of St. George's Episcopal Church and of Local 1874, Textile Workers 
of America.  Survivors, in addition to her mother, include three sisters, 
Mrs. Norman Boore of here; Mrs. Kenneth Werner, Cresaptown and Mrs. 
Clarence Rice, Novi, Mich.; three brothers, Theodore and James Thoerig of 
here and John Thoerig, Akron, Ohio.  The body is at the Durst Funeral Home 
in Frostburg where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and. 7 to 9 p. m. 
The Litany for the Departed will be recited at 7 p.m. Friday at the 
funeral home.  A service will  be conducted Saturday 10:30 a. m. at St. 
George's Episcopal Church by Rev. William E. McGrew. Interment will be in 
the church cemetery."
