Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland Saturday January 14, 1928 page 7: 
"Joseph Thompson, 15, son of Mr. and Mrs. Austin Thompson, formerly 
of this city, and nephew of Robert Shuck, Frostburg, died yesterday 
in Chicago.  Mr. and Mrs. Thompson resided in Barton before moving 
to Cumberland and have resided in chicago for several years."
