Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, 31 Aug 1948: 
"Midland-A Requiem Mass for Thomas Henry Tighe, 83, who died 
Sunday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Robert Home {sic-Hunt}, 
will be celebrated tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's 
Catholic Church by Rev. William McVeigh. Interment will be in 
Allegany Cemetery, Frostburg."
