Cumberland Evening Times    December 22, 1950
   Frostburg -- Services for Grover Cleveland Tippen, 66, former resident of 
Shaft who died Saturday in Pontiac, Mich., were held Wednesday in St. 
Michael's Catholic Church with Rev. Regis F. Larkin, assistant pastor 
celebrant of the requiem mass.
      Pallbearers were Joseph Condon, Frank Kelly, John Keller, Fran 
Alexander, Leonard Miller and William Byrnes.  Burial was in St. Michael's 
Cemetery.
