"The Cumberland News" Cumberland, Maryland, Fri 18 Jun 1971: 
"John J. Wallace, 74, formerly of 820 Shawnee Avenue, died yesterday 
at Memorial Hospital. A native of Cumberland, he was a son of the 
late Theodore A. and Mary (Geatz) Wallace. Surviving are his widow, 
Georgia E. (Sanner) Wallace; four daughters, Mrs. Martha Lee Diamond, 
Laurel; Mrs. Jean Lynam, Silver Spring; Mrs. Shirley  Chamberlain, 
city and Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Vernon, Springfield, Va.; a brother, 
Francis Wallace, city; six sisters, Mrs. Marie Beaulieu, Baltimore; 
Mrs. Katherine Hunter, Mrs. Margaret Aemmer, Mrs. Madelyn Rizer, Mrs. 
Regina Cofield, city, and Mrs. Dorothy Dicken, Blacksburg, Va., and 
seven grandchildren. Requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 
10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church. Entombment will be in Rose Hill 
Mausoleum."
