Meyersville - John J. Watson, 89, of RD 1, Meyersdale, died at his residence 
Friday.  Born at RD 1, Meyersdale, Feb. 28, 1876, he was a son of the late 
John and Mary (Schrock) Watson.  He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Mary A. 
(Schrock) Watson; two daughters, Mrs. Ruth Reese, RD 1 , Somerset and Mrs. 
Grace Pritts, Garrett;  three sons, John H. Watson, and Bruce Watson, both of 
RD 1 , Garrett and Theodore S. Watson, RD 1, Meyersdayle;  37 grandchildren, 
46 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.  The body is at the 
Fred Price Funeral Home, here, where services will be conducted tomorrow at 
2:30 p.m.  Rev. Joseph Chuckla will officiate and interment will be in Lichty 
Cemetery.
