Cumberland News, Cumberland, Maryland, Monday 27 June 1977:  
"Mrs. Helen A. Weimer, 73, of RD 1, died Saturday at Sacred Heart Hospital, 
Cumberland, where she had been in failing health the past two months.  Born in 
Midland, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (McGreevy) Hoye.  
She was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Avilton, and a member of the 
Christian Mothers.  Surviving are her husband, Stanley E. Weimer; three 
daughters, Mrs. Mary Theresa Brannon, Mt. Savage; Mrs. Doris Pope, Salisbury, 
PA, and Mrs. Helen Miller, Pocahontas, PA; five sons, Stanley L. Weimer, New 
Oxford, Pa.; Joseph Weimer, Cumberland; Robert Weimer, Baltimore; Ronald Weimer, 
Star Route, Frostburg, and Thomas Weimer, Avilton; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth 
Robison, Mt. Savage, 31 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.  Friends will 
be received at the Durst Funeral Home, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.  A Mass of 
the Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Michael's Catholic Church 
Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Interment will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Avilton.  A 
Christian Wake service will be held today at 7:30 p. m. at the funeral home. 
Pallbearers will be John, William, Roderick, Ronald and Warren Weimer, and 
George Pope, all grandsons."
