MRS. MARTHA E. WOOD
OAKLAND – Rites for Mrs. Martha Ellen Wood, 79, widow of William Wood, who died 
Friday at her residence in Hutton, were held yesterday from the Fike Watson 
Funeral Home, Terra Alta.  Burial was in Terra Alta Cemetery.
Mrs. Wood was a daughter of the late James F. and Amanda J. (Duvall) Thomas of 
Swanton.
Surviving are two sons, George W. Wood, Hutton, and Charles H. Wood, Tunnelton, 
W. Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Pansy Taylor, Elkins; eight grandchildren and six 
great grandchildren.
