"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland, Saturday 1 Apr 1967: 
"Midland-Francis DeSales Woods, 41, a native of Midland, died Thursday at this home, 
6401 Greig Street, Seat Pleasant. A son of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Woods, Alexandria, 
Va., he is also survived by his widow, Mrs. Betty (Spitznas) Woods; four children, 
Mark, Rebecca, William and Francis D. Woods, Jr., all at home; six sisters, Mrs. 
Theodore Foote, LaVale; Mrs. Lefton Foltz, Fairfax, Va.; Mrs. Eugene DelSignore and 
Mrs. Jack West, both of Alexandria; Mrs. Richard K. McKee, Virginia Beach, Va.; Mrs. 
John Pitsenberger, Washington. The body is at Murphy Funeral Home, Arlington, Va. A 
requiem mass will be celebrated Monday and interment will be in Seat Pleasant 
cemetery."
