Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Thur 7 Oct 1926: 
"Midland, MD., Oct 7, "Patrick Woods, aged 76, native of Ireland, who came 
to this country at the age of 17 years with his parents, died yesterday at 
Midland where he had been a resident for the past 25 years. He is survived 
by the following sons, James and John Woods, of Midland; Terrence and Bernard 
of Lonaconing, and Thomas Woods, of Woodlawn, Pa. The funeral will be held 
Saturday in St. Joseph's Catholic church, Midland, of which the deceased was 
a member. Interment will be made in the church cemetery."


Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Fri 8 Oct 1926: 
"Funeral services for Patrick Woods, of Midland, were held at 9:30 o'clock 
this morning from St. Joseph's church in Midland, with Rev. J.J. Brennan 
officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's cemetery, Lonaconing. The funeral 
was in charge of the Eichorn mortuary.
