Illness compelled him to retire two months ago-from the presidency of the tire company, a post he had held since 1920. He moved here at that time from Peoria, Ill., where he was in the distilling business. He was a delegate to every national Democratic Convention from 1896 to 1912. Woolner was a native of Kentucky. He married Martha Moses of Scranton, Pa., who survives him with two children Mr. Woolen frequently visited Cumberland while he was head of the time company and attended sessions of the Rubber Association of America of this city.
