Rev. Arthur H. Thompson, pastor of the First Methodist Episcopal Church, performing the ceremony. Both the contracting parties were well known and have many friends, both here and in Cumberland, who joins in extending best wishes for a long and happy voyage over the sea of life together. They will reside in Cumberland, where the groom is employed. Mr. George W. Wellings and Miss Julia A. Woodrow, both of Frostburg, were married at the First Methodist Episcopal Church parsonage on West Main street, Tuesday afternoon by the pastor, Rev. A. H. Thompson. They were attended by Miss Mary Richardson and Mr. Thomas Reed, also of this place. After the ceremony they party were given a reception at the home of the bride’s parents, which was attended by a large number of friends of the happy pair. They received many handsome presents from their friends and will reside in this city.
