The Herald, Piedmont, West Virginia, Fri 9 Nov 1917: 
"Wedding Bells-Fahey-Ryan-The marriage of Mr. John Fahey, of 
Westernport, and Miss Katherine Ryan, of St. Paul, Minn., was 
solemnized at the Cathedral in that city, on Wednesday morning, 
Nov. 7.  Miss Mamie Fahey, sister of the groom, was bride's 
maid, and Rev. Thomas E. Gallagher, of St. Peter's church, 
Westernport, witnessed the ceremony.  The bride formerly 
resided in Keyser with her sister, Mrs. Pscheur, and is known 
to a large circle of friends in theis vacinity.  The groom is 
the son of Mr. M. P. Fahey, of Cumberland, and is superintendent 
of the Fahey mine just below town.  The couple will take up 
their residence in Westernport."
