Rev. Joseph A. Weber, first assistant pastor, performed the ceremony and was celebrant of the low nuptial mass. Mrs. Richard Goldsworthy was organist and Miss Anna D. Comer and Mrs. Giles Maurey. soloists. The bride was given in marriate by her brother, William Delaney, and the attendants were Miss Rita Delaney, this city, and Thomas Miller of Clinton. The bride was attired in a gown of white velvet and a shoulder veil with a halo of pearls and carried white roses and lilies of the valley. Miss Delaney, her attendant, wore a gown of Chinese peacock blue velvet, and carried a bouquet of Talisman roses. Miss Catherine Jack, aunt of the bride, wore spruce green velvet with a shoulder corsage of rosebuds. The bride- groom's mother was attired in black velvet with shoulder corsage of gardenias. A reception was held at the home of Miss Catherine Jack after which Mr. and Mrs. Garner left for a honeymoon trip to New York. Miss Garner is a graduate of St. Michael's parochial school, this city; Ursuline Academy, Cumberland, and Frostburg State Teachers College. She is a teacher in the public school at Clinton, where Mr. Garner is employed as a salesman.
