“Sunday Times” Cumberland, Maryland, 5 Sep 1948: 
“Marriage Told of Rose Logsdon To Robert Keyes-The marriage of Miss Rose Patricia 
Logsdon daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Kenny Logsdon, Lonaconing, to Robert Keyes, son 
of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Keyes, Barton took place August 26, at St. Mark’s Catholic 
Church, Catonsville. Rev. Joseph Leary officiated. Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Hartley, 
Baltimore, brother-in-law and sister of the bride, were the attendants. The bride 
was attired in a deep pink dress, with blue accessories and a corsage of white 
orchids. Her matron of honor wore a pink dress with black accessories and a corsage 
of yellow roses. Mrs. Keyes is a graduate of Central High School, Lonaconing. Mr. 
Keyes served in the Navy during the war. He is employed in Baltimore where the 
couple will reside.”
