Long-In a Christmas setting of rare beauty and with all the pomp and ceremony of the Church, Margaret Louise Witherup became the bride of John Joseph Long in a high nuptial Mass at SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church, this morning. The Rev. Father Boniface, O. M. Cap., was celebrant of the Mass. The altars, decorated with poinsettias and aglow with numerous candles, and the Christmas tree that formed a background for the stable of Bethlehem, and the beautiful scene it portrayed, provided a real Christmas setting. The bride's gown was of oyster white Baronet satin, with a collar of Irish lace, three-tiered bustle with hip fullness, and a long train, Empire influence. The veil of tulle, draped from a becoming Juliet cap supplemented the bridal costume. She carried a white prayer book and a crystal and gold rosary-the gift of a friend. The bride's attendants were her three sisters, Mrs. Robert Wilson, matron of honor, and Misses Dorothy and Jean Witherup, bridesmaids. Mrs. Wilson wore Margaret Rose taffeta, and the Misses Witherup, aqua taffeta. All three gowns were designed to conform with the bride's gown. The matron of honor carried Talisman roses and the bridesmaids carried tea roses. The bride's mother wore powder blue witha a corsage of white gardenias. The bridegroom wore blue with a corsage of tea roses. John Schwarzenbach, of Pittsburgh, Pa., brother-in-law of Mr. Long, was best man, and the ushers were Elmer B. Gower and John Blough. A breakfast for the bridal party and the immediate families at the Fort Cumberland Hotel was followed by a reception at the home of the bride's parents.
