Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland 17 Jun 1930: 
"A pretty church wedding was solemnized this morning at St. 
Michael's Catholic Church when Miss Laura McGann, daughter 
of Mr. and Mrs. James McGann, Cemetery Road, and William P. 
Manley, Midland, were married by Rev. Gerald J. Finan, 
assistant pastor. They were attended by Miss Margaret 
McGann, sister of the bride and John Manley, brother of 
the groom. Mrs. Manley was an operator at the local 
exchange of the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. 
Mr. Manley conducts a gasoline station at the foot of Grant 
street. They will reside at Midland."
