"Cumberland Evening Times" 25 Jul 1939: 
"Miss Margaret Anna Laing, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Laing, 
802 Williams Street, was married to Michael Francis McDade, son of Mrs. 
Clara C. McDade and the late Charles E. McDade, 316 Baltimore street, 
at 8 o'clock this morning at a high nuptial mass in SS. Peter and Paul 
Church, with the Rev. Father Boniface officiating. The bride wore 
point d'esprit over satin and a fingertip veil offset by a coronet of 
white roses. She carried a bouquet of Johanna Hill roses. Miss Rose 
Marie Laing, sister of the bride, wore peach organdy and carried a 
bouquet of talisman roses. DeSales McDade, brother of the bridegroom, 
was best man. Breakfast was served for the immediate families at the 
bride's parents' home. After a week's honeymoon trip, the couple will 
reside at 517 Williams street. The bride is a graduate of Ursuline 
academy. Mr. McDade is a graduate of LaSalle, '34, and is employed 
at the McDade market, Baltimore Avenue."
