McMurrer, son of Mr. and Mrs. John P. McMurrer, of Charleston, W. Va. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Edward P. McAdams in St. Peter's church in Westernport. The altar was decorated with ferns, palms and yellow chrysanthemums. Three vocal solos, Millard's "Ave Maria," "Today" and "O Salutaris," were rendered by Miss Irene O'Gorman, while Miss Rosemary Flanagan played two violin solos, "I Love You Truly," and "Romance." Miss Mary Hannon accompanied them at the organ. The bride word a suit of gray flamingo cloth, with squirrel collar. Her hat was henna. Her corsage boquet (sic) was of sweetheart roses and lillies of the valley. The maid of honor, the bride's sister, Miss Lillian McGreevey (sic) was attired in a frock of dark blue canton crepe and gray gorgette. Her corsage bouquet was of sweet peas and sweetheart roses. Herbert McMurrer was his brother's best man. After the ceremony a reception and wedding breakfast were held at the home of the bride, only the officiating priests, members of the families and intimate friends attending. After their wedding trio Mr. and Mrs. McMurrer will make their home in Charleston. Among the guests who attended the wedding were Mr. and Mrs. John McMurrer, daughter Leona, and sons Herbert and Patrick, of Charleston; Misses Margaret Collins and Sadie Flanigan, Mr. Norman Sell, Frank and Bernard McGreevey, (sic) brothers of the bride, all of Cumberland."
