Nov. 26 - The marriage of Miss Mabel Irene Younkin, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard F. Younkin, to Carl Frederick Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Miller, Accident, took place at 4 p.m. yesterday in the Grantsville Lutheran Church. The ring ceremony was performed by the Rev. S. D. Sigler, pastor. The bride was given in marriage by her brother, Emmons Younkin, Pittsburgh, wore a white satin gown with lace cap trimmed with pearls, and a net veil with corsage of talisman roses. Miss Dorothy Younkin, sister of the bride, was maid of honor and wore a gown of raspberry satin with a coronet of rhinestones and a corsage of pink roses. Ralph Glotfely was the best man. George Miller of Accident, brother of the groom, and Harold Glotfelty were ushers. Mrs. Leonard B. Schaefer played Lohengrin's wedding march and Mendelssohn's recessional. Mrs. Wendell Lohr sang "I Love You Truly." The church was decorated with chrysanthemums, laurel, spruce and lighted candles. The bride is known as a pianist and singer. Mr. Miller is engaged in farming with his father. Dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. Present were Mr. and Mrs. William Miller and daughter, Lena, and Miss Rose Miller, Accident; Rev. and Mrs. S. D. Sigler, Mr. and Mrs. Lester Opal, Mrs. Homer Durst, Mrs. Charles Durst and Charles Yommer, Saulsbury, Pa.; Mrs. Emmons Younkin, Pittsburg; Mr. and Mrs. ? Daniels, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bealer, Cumberland; Mrs. Walter Price, Breezewood, Pa.; Mrs. Lillie B. Younkin, Misses Rachael Holmes and Carolyn Wallace, Mrs. Earl Frickey, Mrs. Harley McKenzie and Evelyn Swauger. The young couple left for Washington. Mrs. Miller's going-away gown was of royal blue rippled crepe.
