Cumberland Times, Cumberland, Maryland 17 Jul 1932: 
"Midland, Md.--Mildred Tighe, youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. 
Thomas Tighe and Walter Ross, son of Mrs. Mary Ross, both of 
Midland, were married Thursday evening, July 7, by the Rev. Dr. 
Henry Little, pastor of the Presbyterian church, Frostburg. The 
bride wore white silk crepe overlaid with lace, with hat, gloves 
and slippers to match. Mr. Ross is a retired officer of the U. 
S. Navy. After a two weeks motor tour of Alabama and Florida, 
they will be at their home on Church Hill."
