George Pugh, assistant pastor. The bride, given in marriage by her brother-in-law, Peter DiNicola, Cumberland, was attired in a grey suit with black accessories and a yellow rosebud corsage. She carried white prayerbook. Miss Mary Serpone, sister of the bridegroom and Joseph Sudine, Greene's Addition, Westernport, were the attendants. The maid of honor wore a white suit with black accessories and a corsage of white rosebuds. A dinner was served at the home of his mother, Mrs. Sarah Serpone, in honor of the couple. A reception was held in the evening at the Piedmont Firemen's Club. A three tiered wedding cake centered the table. The couple are residing 37 Orchard Street, Piedmont. Mrs. Serpone attended the Luke School and was employed by the Celanese Corporation of America, Mr. Serpone attended Piedmont High School and served with the Army during World War II. He is employed at the Luke Plant ot the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. Out of town guests attending the wedding included Miss Bernice Sudine and James Sudine, Washington, Mr. and Mrs. Peter DiNicola, Cumberland, and Bernard Clay Maybury, West Virginia University, Morgantown."
