"Evening Times" Cumberland, Maryland Tue 20 Jul 1937: 
"Midland, Md., July 20-Patrick I. Stakem, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Stakem, Midland and Iona 
M. Ward, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Ward, Eckhart, were married Sunday at the rectory of 
St. Joseph's church by ther Rev. J. J. Brennan. John Stakem, brother of the bridegroom, and 
Mary Ward, sister of the bride, were attendants..."
