"The Cumberland Times" Cumberland, Maryland, 18 Aug 1926 
"John A. Stapleton and Miss Helen Veronica McPartland, both of 
this city, were married Tuesday morning at St. Patrick's Church 
with nuptial mass by the Rev. James Dwyer, assistant pastor. 
Michael O' Connor, Connellsville, Pa., cousin of the bride, and 
Miss Florence Stapleton, sister of the bridegroom, were the 
attendants.  A wedding breakfast was served at the Boulevard 
Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Stapleton have gone to Atlantic City."
