I, Sarah Rebecca Hardman, of Allegany County, in the State of Maryland, do hereby make, publish and declaire this as and for my last will and testament, in manner following, that is to say: After the payment of all my just debts and funeral expenses, I give, devise and bequeath all my property and estate, real and personal, wheresoever situated, unto Egbert Willison, his heirs and assigns forever, in trust, nevertheless, to pay the rents, profits and income thereof, unto Sarah Rebecca Hendrickson, my adopted daughter, for and during the term of her natural life, and from and after her death, to pay over Five Hundred Dollars of the principal of said property and estate to the “Preacher’s Fund Society, of the City of Baltimore”, and after her said death to pay all the rest and residue of said property and estate (after the payment of the above bequest) to “The Missionary Society of the Methodist Episcopal Church”, incorporated by the Legislature of the Sate of New York, and the receipt of the Treasure thereof, shall be sufficient discharge to my Executor for the same. And I hereby constitute and appoint the said Egbert Willison, the Executor of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other wills and codicils by me heretofore made. In Testimony Whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this 8th day of June 1893. David J. Lewis Benj. A. Richmond D. J. Blackiston June 8, 1893 State of Maryland Allegany County to wit: On the 6th day of August 1898 came Egbert B. Willison, the Executor named in the aforegoing last will and testament of Sarah Rebecca Hardman, late of Allegany County, Maryland, deceased and made oath in due form of law, that he received the said will from the hands of the Register of Wills, with whom it was fixed for safe keeping on the 27th day of February 1896 by the said testatrix. And the said Egbert B. Willison, further made oath athat the aforegoing instrument of writing is the true whole last will and testament of the said Sarah Rebecca Hardman, deceased, that hath come to his hands or posession, and that he does not know of any other will and testament of the deceased aforesaid. Test: A. H. Dowden Register State of Maryland Allegany County to wit: On the 8th day of August 1898 came David J. Lew, Benjamin A. Richmond and D. J. Blackiston, the three subscribing witnesses to the aforegoing last will and testament of Sarah Rebecca Hardman, late of Allegany County, Maryland deceased and made oath in due form of law that they did see Sarah Rebecca Hardman, the testatrix, sign and seal said Will, that they heard her publish, pronounce and declare the same to be her last will and testament, that at the time of her so doing she was to the best of their apprehensions of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, capable of executing a valid deed or contract, and that they respectively subscribed their names as witnesses thereto at the request of the testatrix in her presence, and all in the presence of each other.
