I William Iiams of Alegany County and State of Maryland being in perfect helth of body and of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please god to call me hence. Do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following. That is to say - first and principally I commit my soul into the hands of almightly god and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors hereafter named. I devise and bequeath as follows: Item 1 I do hereby constitute and appoint my eldest son Amos and Jesse my youngest son as joint heirs and executors of all my real and personal estate except that track of land which I bought of Thomas Boein----- Item 2 I give and devise to my oldest and youngest sons Amos and Jesse the plantation or farm on which I now live containing one track of land called Williams farm containing two hundred and forty six acres and one quarter of an acre and one called Addition toWilliams farm containing 200 1/2 of an acre and one track called Partnership containing 60 acres, thirty of its mine & thirty (S)? Danisons all which joins each other in the county and state aforesaid and one track which I bought of Thomas Moghon lying on town creek in Bedford County, Pennsylvania them their heirs and assigns - - - - - Item 3 I give and devise to my second son William my land on which he now lives lying in Bedford County and state of Pennsylvania to him the said William his heirs and assigns. Item 4 Amos and Jesse shall pay Mary Gorden eighty Dollars it being a ballance due her or her heirs of her legacy. Lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint my two sons Amos and Jesse as joint heirs of my personal property and what they shall pay my daughter Rachel or her heirs the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars and Rebecca or her heirs the sum of one hundred and thirty dollars and they shall appoint too appraisers that are uninterested to appraise the property and Mary, Rachel and Rebecca should take property at the appraisement or take ___due notes to the amount of half there dowry and I do certify that Isbel Sloan shall have free liberty on my place as usual in and to both the dwelling house & C house both her and her children for the term of three months after my death and she Isbel Sloa ,Amos and Jesse shall give in all my personal property to the best of their knowledge except what the appraisers shall ____ sufficient of both meat and bread for the term of three months for the said Isbel and her two children ratifying and confirming this to be my last will and testament .
