Both John and Cassa are buried in the Bald Hill Cemetery, Cumberland Valley Township, Bedford County, Pennsylvania. The will is transcribed verbatim. In the name of God, Amen, I Cassa Leasure of Allegany County in the State of Maryland being sick and weak in body, but of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the times thereof and being desirous to settle my wordly affairs, and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God, to call me hence, do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following, that is to say: First, and principally I commit my soul into the hands of Almighty God, and my body to the Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executors herein named, and after my debts and funeral charges are paid, I desire and bequeath as follows: Item, I give and devise unto Thomas Leasure my eldest son and John H. Leasure my youngest son, my plantation whereon I now dwell known by the name of "Honest Miller". Contatining about thirty seven acres more or less to them the said Thomas Leasure and John H. Leasure their heirs and assigns in fee simple. Item. I devise and bequeath all the personal property I possess at my death to my sons Thomas and John H. Leasure, except my weeving (sic) loom, I give to my daughter Phoebe Leasure. And I order and direct that my sons Thomas Leasure and John H. Leasure shall pay my daughter Phoebe Leasure fifty dollars in money, and I order and direct that my sons Thomas and John H. Leasure maintain my two duaghters Lurana and Mary I. Leasure on the property so devised to them and that they receive thare (sic) maintanance during thare (sic) natural life of the said property so devised to my two sons they being deaf and dum (sic), and it is my express desire that the persons to whom my estate is devised, shall maintain them during thare (sic) natural life, provided they never change thare (sic) name by marriage. Item. I also devise and bequeth to my sons Thomas and John H. Leasure and my daughters Phoebe, Lurana and Mary I. Leasure one bed to each one to be equal proportion in value alike. And lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my two sons Thomas Leasure and John H. Leasure to be sole Executors of this my last will and Testament, revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last Will and Testament.
