I John Rutan of Allegany County and State of Maryland being sick and weak in body but of sound and disposing mind memory and understanding considering the certainty of death and the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave this world when it shall please God to call me hence do therefore make and publish this my last will and testament in manner and form following: that is to say ~~~~~~~~ first and principally I commit my sole into the hands of Almighty God and my body to the earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my executors or executives hereinafter named and after my debts and funeral charges are paid I leave to my dear wife Catherine one third of the hole amount of my estate if she shall out live me and after her death to my son David. I bequeath to my daughter Sarah More fifty dollars after the death of her mother Catherine. I leave to my son Peter Rutan fifty Dollars to be paid after the death of his mother Catherine. I leave to my son Daniel Rutan fifty Dollars to be paid after the death of his mother Catherine. I bequeath to my two grandchildren Sarah and Isac Rutan children of my son Isac Rutan twenty five dollars each to be paid after the death of their grandmother Catherine Rutan. I Bequest unto my daughter Mary Hoye fifty dollars to be paid after the death of her mother Catherine Rutan. I bequest to my daughter Catherine fifty dollars to be paid after the death of her mother Catherine Rutan. I bequest to my grandson Jesse Rutan son of my daughter Ordery Rutan fifty dollars to be paid after the death of his grandmother Catherine Rutan. I bequest to my son David all my real and personal property after the above legacies are paid - - - - And lastly I do hereby con____? and appoint David Rutan and Joseph Grant Joint Executors of this my last will and testament revoking and annulling all former wills by me heretofore made ratifying and confirming this and none other to be my last will and testament.
