        In the Name of God, Amen, I Catherine Valentine of Allegany County and 
State of Maryland do hereby make and ordain this my last will and testament 
revoking all others and do hereby will and bequeath as follows:
        I do will and bequeath unto my brother Andrew Rice of Andrew All and 
singular my property which I own at my decease and that he Andrew Rice of Andrew 
shall have and collect all my outstanding debts either by note Book Account or 
otherwise due me and have the full power to Collect the same as I would if I 
were living and apply the whole to his own and proper use And singular All my 
property.  I leave him for his own use which I am possessed of at the day of my 
decease in further testimony whereof I do hereby subscribe my name with my own 
hand in the presence of those subscribing witness that are hereby present this 
thirteenth day of December in the year of our Lord Eighteen hundred and Thirty 
two.

Allegany County to wit:
        April 9th, 1845 then came Andrew Rice of Andrew and made oath on the Holy 
Evangely of Almighty God that the foregoing is the whole true and last will and 
testament of Catharine Valentine that has come to his knowledge and possession 
and that he Knows of no other.

April 9th 1845
        Then came John Folck and Daniel Folck and made oath on the Holy Evageley 
of Almighty God that the names of the subscribing witnesses are in the hand 
writing of John Folck, Henry Folck and David Folck to the foregoing will and 
testament.
