know yee that we for and in consideration that Edward Parish of the County of Ann Arrundall in our sd 
province of Maryland planter hath due unto him One hundred and fifty Acres of land within our sd 
province by assignment from Jerome White, Esq part of a Warrant for 2150 Acres of Land formerly granted 
the sd White as appears upon record, And upon duch conditions and terms as are expressed in our 
Conditions of plantation of our sd province of Maryld under our greater Seal at Armes bearing date at ____ 
on the Second day of July in the Year of our Lord God 1649 with such alterations as in them is made by 
our declaration bearing date the 22 day of September anno 1658 and remaining upon record in our sd 
province of Maryland

Additional Comments:
Edward was imported to Virginia in 1635 by Adam Thoroughgood, a Burgess.  This record of "Parrishes 
Chance" establishes his residence in Maryland in 1649.  He apprenticed for the Billingsleys in "Calery 
County" from 1642 to 1649.  There is a 1670 record of "Parrishes Chance" by him or his son Edward, 
who married Clara Jadwin in 1664 upon completing service with William Piper in Kent County from 1655 
- 1662.  The most notable property was "Parrishes Range,"  which was surveyed for Edward (father or 
son) 05 Oct 1678.
