Daniel Winfield Sharps son of the late Lottie and George Sharps was born 
October 24, 1917 in Harwood, Md His formal education was obtained at Lothian 
Elementary school. In 1946 he married Annie Lorraine Creek and from that 
union, came eight children.He was a dedicated employee at Beverly Beach, 
Mayo,Maryland And served many years at the State Roads Commission for 17 
years. He joined Chews United Methodist Church under the leadership of Rev. 
Lewis E. Wise he leaves memories to cherish, a loving wife Annie L. Sharps,six 
children, Annie Parker,Lottie Hopkins,Louise Sharps,Sarah Green,James Sharps 
and George Sharps. Twenty five Grand children,Twenty nine Great grandchildren, 
five sisters, Alice Brown,Elizabeth Brewer,Catherine Robinson,Priscilla 
Thompson and Lillie Rice one brother Clifton R. Sharps. Two daughter- in- laws 
Roslyn Sharps and Latandria Sharps four sister in laws Lucille Sharps,Sarah 
Creek,Helen Brown and Joesphine Creek. Three son in laws John Hopkins, William 
Parker and James Green.,five brother- in -laws Derry Brewer, Jessie 
Robinson,Rodney Hull,Richard Creek and James Thompson Two Aunts Iva Sharpps 
and Henrietta Sharps and a host of nieces nephews and friends.

Daniel was known by all as Bill
