Item. I devise all my lands unto my wife Margaret during her widowhood until ...?marriage or death and as soon as my son Joseph arrives to the age twenty one years, I desire the same may be sold, at public sale, by my ? and the money arising from the sale equally divided among my five sons ..?-- Childs, Charles, Samuel, Jerningham and Joseph and their heirs. Item. I devise and bequeath unto my two grandsons William Lillard? Simmons and ? ? Welch, sixty dollars each. Item. I give and bequeath to my four sons Charles, Samuel, Jerningham and Joseph ?? dollars each. Item. I bequeath all the ??? and residue of my personal estate to be equally divided between my five sons Henry Childs, Charles, Samuel, Jerningham and Joseph and their heirs. Item. Lastly, I do hereby constitute and appoint my two sons Henry Childs and Charles Executwers of this my last will and testament, revoking and annulling former wills by me heretofore made, ratifying and confirming this and then? to be my last will and testament. Then came Henry Childs Drury and made Oath the 20th day of April 1816 ?evangely? of Almighty God that the within testament? of writing is the true whole and last will and testament of Charles Drury late of Anne Arundel County deceased, that hath come to his hands, ??? knowledge and that he hath not know of any other. Testamentary Witnesses to the within last will and testament of Charles Drury late of Anne Arundel County deceased and ??? holy Enangely of Almighty God, that they and ??? the Testament named, Sign and seal this will, and that they heard him publish ???? and declare the same to be his last will and testament, that at the ??? ???? ??? was to the best of their app.......? "apprehensions") of sound disposing mind and understanding and that they together with Benjamin Carr this then subscribing witness respectively subscribed their names as witnesses to this will in the presence and at the request of the Testator and all in the presence of each other - ???
