The First of May, Anno Domini, 1753, I, Joseph Foreman, of the County of Anne Arundell, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, praise be given to Allmighty God for the same, and knowing the uncertainty of this life on Earth, and being desirous of settling things in order, doe make this my last Will and Testament in manner and form following: That is to say - First, I commend my soule to Allmighty God, my Creator, asshourdly believing that I shall receive full pardon and free remission of all my sins, and be saved by the pressious death and merrits of my blessed Savour and Redeemer Christ Jesus and my Body to the Earth to be buried in a decent and Christian manner as to my Executors here after named shall be thought fit convenient and as for my worldly Estate as the Lord in mercy hath lent me I doe order give and dispose the same in manner and form following. And first I doe revoke, renounce, frustrate and make void all Wills by me formerly made, and declare and appoint this to be my last Will and Testament, and my Will is that all those debts as to wright or Conscience I oe to any person be well and truly paid in a convenient time after my decease by my Executors. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my son Philip Foreman and his heirs forever all that part of land called the Spit Point and lying on the bodkin Creek. I also give to my said son a new fulling mill cloth coate and Britches, two yous and two Lams. Imps. All the rest of my waring apprill I give and bequeath unto my son William Foreman a heffer with calf. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my son Samuel Foreman Five Pounds Current money. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my daughter Ann Shipord a Bead and Covering, a heffer with calf called Cherry and a young Steare, two Glasses, two dishes, and fore plates, two Yoes and two Lams. Imps. I give and bequeath to my son Ezebias Foreman one negro man called Harry Foot, and the Bead and covring he lyes on and Beadstead, four dishes and Duzen of plates, a five gallon poot and a two Gallon one. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my son John Foreman, Twenty Pounds Current money to be paid him by my Executors at the age of Twenty-one years. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my Daughter Walthey Foreman Eight pounds Current money to be paid her at the day of marriage, but if she die before that time then I give ti to my son Ezebias Foreman. Imps. I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Ann Foreman a negro man named Boasom besides her thirds of my Estate. And lastly I doe apoint my loving wife Ann Foreman and my son Ezebias Foreman Hole and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
