The best feather Bed and furniture in my house at the Time of my Death four Cows and Calves six Ewes and a ram three Breeding sows and third part of the remainder of my stock of Hoggs One pair of hand Mill stones and Irons one pair of Iron Doggs now in the possession of Joseph Lane one plow and Harness for One horse, One horse Called Nantor One Dozen new pewter plates One third part of all my Syder Casques one third part of all my Glass Bottles One Ovall Table & share of the Crop of Tobacco for such of the aforesaid Negroes above given him as shall happen to work in the Crop at the Time of my decease and thirty Barrells of Indian Corn. I also Give and bequeath unto my said loveing Grand son Samuel Lane and his heirs all the money that lyes in England in his the said Samuel Lanes Name and it is my will and Desire that the above mentioned Legacy be paid my said Grandson Samuel Lane by my Executrixes hereafter Named Immediately after my decease and that my said Grandson Samuel Lane Consult with and take the advice of my friends M{r} Henry & Philip Darnall in the management of his Affairs or in any Bargain or agreement he shall have Occasion to make and that if he should Engage himself in any Contract or Bargain before he arrives at the age of Twenty One years without Consulting them and having their approbation thereto that any such Bargain be Void Item. I Give and bequeath unto my Dear and loving Daughters Elizabeth West and Rachel Lane and their heirs all the rest or residue of my personall Estate to be Equally Divided between them. Jam{s} Deale, Tho{s} Vernon, Edward Easter On the Back of the aforegoing will was thus Written Viz On the 12{th} Day of June 1745 James Deale and Thomas Vernon two of the subscribing Witnesses to the within will being duly and solemnly sworn on the holy Evangels of Almighty God did depose and say that they saw the Testator Samuel Maccubbin sign and seal the within will and heard him publish and declare the same to be his last will and Testament and that at the Time of his so doing he was to the best of their Judgment and apprehension of sound and disposing mind and memory and that they the said James Deale and Thomas Vernon Subscribed their names as Witnesses to the said will in the presence of the said Testator and at his request and they further depose and say that they saw Edward Carter the Other Witness subscribe his name as a Witness to the said will in the presence of the said Testator Sworn to before me Wm ?
