I Ellen Owings of Anne Arundel County, STate of Maryland being of sound and siposing mind memory and understanding and knowing the uncertainty of life do make this my last Will and testament as follows: 1st. I will after my death and the payments of all my debts and funeral expenses shall have been made that the annual proceeds from my farm in Calvert County Md on which STephen Elliote now resides shall be given annually to my children then living or to their heirs or assigns to share and share alike equally according to their individual right of inheritances until my youngest child shall be twenty one years of age: Then I will and bequeath that said farm shall be sold and the procceds equally divided between my children as above mentioned. I also hereby appoint and constitute without bond as trustee for my children in the above annual income, my husband Thomas Owings. 2nd. I will and bequeath to my husband Thomas Owings during his natural life for his support and the support of my above said children their heirs or assigns tje farm on which I now reside with all and every appertenance of crops, stock of all kinds, farming implements, amd household and kitchen furniture and after the death of my husband, Thomas Owings, I will and direct that this farm be sold and equally divided among all my children. 3rd. I also will and bequeath that all monies that may be new owing me, after the payment of my funeral expenses and any debts shall be equyally distributed among my children. 4th. I hereby request and constitute and appoint as executors of this my last Will and testament my husband Thomas Owings and Dr. N. S>. Knighton. Knighton one of the witnesses to the aforegoing last Will and Testament of Ellen Owings and made oath on the Holy Evangely of Almight God that he did see the testratrix sign and seal this will, that he heard her pronounce, publish, and declare the same to be her last Will and Testament and at the same time of her so doing she was to the best of his knowledge and apprehension of sound and disposing mind, memory, and understanding and that he together with the other subscribing witnesses to the said will respectfully subscribed their names as witnesses thereto at the request of the testatrix and in her presence and all in the presence of each other.
