Baltimore County Union October 10, 1903
A number of colored Republicans held a meeting at Quaker Bottom, 8th district, 
on Friday evening, 2d instant, and organized under the name of the Quaker 
Bottom Colored Republican Club, with the following officers: President, Fred. 
Jackson; vice-president, James Jammison; secretary, John Madden; managers, Wm. 
H. Williams, Alfred Mayers, Sr., Charles Johnson, Alfred Mayers, Jr., and 
Charles Daymont.  Twenty-four names were enrolled at the first meeting.
