Baltimore County Democrat December 16, 1893
The corner-stone of Colored Union Eastern Methodist Protestant Chapel, about a 
mile from Cowenton, on the Philadelphia Division of the Baltimore and Ohio 
Railroad, in this county, was laid Sunday.  Rev. F. Hachett, colored, owns the 
land on which the chapel is to be built and expects by subscription to raise 
the $300 necessary to pay for the construction.  The chapel will start with 
nine members and Rev. F. Hacket will be the pastor. (names are as spelled in 
paper)
