Baltimore County Democrat June 16, 1894
The last services were held Sunday in the old Methodist Episcopal Church South 
at Arlington.  The demolition of the structure commenced Monday preparatory to 
the erection of the new edifice on the same site. Sunday night there was a 
general reunion of the congregation. A hall in the neighborhood has been 
secured in which to hold services during the building of the new church.  Mr. 
John Marshal, of Glyndon, is the contractor for the new church, which is to 
cost about $15,000.
